Proposed Levy Limit Increase: Estimated Taxpayer Impact

The Town of Richmond is proposing a $100,000 increase to the allowable levy limit to provide additional funding for road maintenance, construction and replacement. The estimated impact of the proposed increase is approximately $37.84 per $100,000 of property value.

A Public Budget Hearing will be held on November 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., with the Special Town Elector Meeting immediately following, at which electors will consider the proposed levy limit increase.
