Depositing Waste in Ditches

Ordinance 102, Chapter 13

It shall be unlawful for any person to throw or deposit any weeds, yard water, sod, brush, cans, glass, gravel, stones, boulders, machinery, garbage or other waste of rubbish in or on the right of way (ditches) of any highway/road in the Town of Richmond.

Yard Waste for Town Residents

Spring Clean Up for Yard Waste
(NO ELECTRONICS) Starting the third Saturday of April, and each Saturday until the third Saturday of May from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., yard waste may be dropped off at Richmond Brush Site (the old the town dump) at N5761 Cypress Road.

Starting in June through September, yard waste may be dropped off at this site from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month.

Fall Clean for Yard Waste
(NO ELECTRONICS) Starting on the first Saturday of October and each Saturday until the second Saturday in November, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
